UPPSC 2025 #1 - The Struggles, Challenges, Opportunities & Solutions

Today is 1st August and I am here trying to figure out how to make myself sit on the table. It’s so hard to believe that just to make yourself sit on the study table could in itself be such a huge challenge. Thinking of the solutions the idea to document the preparation sounds fun to me. So this is it. This post will be the first one.

What next?

The most fundamental problem I am going through is the vicious cycle - I don’t do my stuff —> lack behind in targets —> feel bad and motivation is down —> Don’t do my stuff —> lack behind in targets —> feel bad and motivation is down.

So it’s evident that the solution lies in breaking this vicious cycle - Do your stuff at any cost —> feel good —> motivation is up —> do your stuff.

How you are going to it?

Unlike my other plans, this one does not need any fancy strategy or flows. It asks you to keep it simple. And that simple thing is - Delayed Gratification

Practicing Delayed Gratification - Have patience

1. Obey and Respect Time
1.1 Talking to friends - be conscious of the time you are talking and the tasks you are supposed to complete - limit the time.

2. Seek Consistency and Embrace Repetition
3. Develop the ability to get bored for a while
4. Bear the pain

Keeping the Track

The aim here is to log and keep a track of my progress and short comings. This will make me feel accountable and a fun way to do it. Accounts
